Fighting Illini look to get in the win column in Week #2

The Fighting Illini welcome the Panthers of Eastern Illinois to Champaign for their 2008 home opener. Illinois traveled home after a week 1 loss to the 6th ranked Missouri Tigers in search of their first win in their 2008 campaign. The Illini will look to improve defensively against a Panthers team that complied just 284 yards and 12 points in a route at the hands of Central Michigan. The defense will keep an eye on EIU quarterback Bodie Reeder who threw for 201 yards and a TD @ CMU a week ago. Look for the Illini rushing attack to get more chances to move the chains and the defense coming out with a lot more intensity, as the Illini should get in the win column fairly easily.
