Iowa vs. Northwestern PreviewNovember 7th 12:00 ET
The Iowa Hawkeyes pulled out another miracle victory, this time at home vs. Indiana. Iowa QB Ricky Stanzi threw 5 interceptions on the day as the dream of an undefeated season was turning into a nightmare. Iowa trailed 21-7 at the half and only cut the lead to 24-14 at the end of 3 quarters. Stanzi finally settled down throwing 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter as Iowa put up 28 points in the quarter and pulled away for a 42-24 victory. The 9-0 Hawkeyes will host 5-4 Northwestern this week in a dangerous trap game as a road game against Ohio State looms. Kirk Ferentz’ biggest challenge this week will be to keep the Hawkeyes focused.
Prediction: The Hawkeyes will not need a miracle this week as they will come out stronger against the Wildcats. Iowa 34 Northwestern 17
