Minnesota Gophers: This & That

ESPN has announced the kickoff time for the Wisconsin/Minnesota game at 12 ET. The game will be carried on ESPN or ESPN2.

The University of Minnesota has announced home and away series against the University of Texas Longhorns. The Longhorns will come to TCF Stadium in 2015 and the Gophers will head to Austin in 2016.

Minnesota also announced a home and away series with Navy in 2019 and 2020.

The Gophers may have lost their first game of the season on Saturday against California, but they still gained two recruits-

-Safety James Manuel (Indianapolis, IN; Warren Central High School) selected Minnesota over Michigan State, Iowa, and Louisville. The 6’1, 195 Manuel is currently ranked as the 36 th best safety in the country.

-Defensive End Josh Tauaefa (Corinth, TX; Lake Dallas High School) selected the Gophers over UNLV, Houston, and UTEP.

-Linebacker Willie Tatum (Pickerington, OH; Pickerington High School) had previously committed to Bowling Green, but now may be having a change of heart after visiting Minnesota over the weekend saying that he remains committed to Bowling Green, but may soon change his commit.
