Ohio State Buckeyes vs Indiana Hoosiers Preview

The Ohio State Buckeyes destroyed Illinois 30-0 for their 2nd consecutive shutout.  The running game came to life as Brandon Saine and Boom Herron combined for 156 yards on the ground.  Terrelle Pryor threw for only 82 yards but added 59 yards on the ground.  The defense solved a riddle that gave them headaches the past few seasons; shut down Juice Williams.  Williams threw 2 interceptions and totaled only 95 yards combined.  The D-Line harassed Juice and completely halted the Illini running game. The Buckeyes travel to Bloomington which could be tougher than originally expected.  The Hoosiers are fast improving with a 3-1 record.  IU gave Michigan all they wanted in the Big House before succumbing 36-33.  Hoosier QB Ben Chappell threw for 270 yards against the Maize and Blue while Darius Willis ran for 152 yards.  WR Tandon Doss is having a good start to the 09 campaign with 374 yards in 4 games.

Prediction:  :  Ohio State’s defensive line will dominate the Hoosiers forcing Chappell into 3rd and long situations.  Look for a monster game from Buckeye RB Brandon Saine.  The Bucks win the field position and turnover war and easily handle the Hoosiers.  Ohio State 39 Indiana 13
