#9 Ohio State vs. Wisconsin Preview

October 10th 3:30 ET

Line: Ohio State -16

Ohio State’s defense put together another impressive performance limiting Indiana to 14 points.  RB Brandon Saine got his 1 st start of the year and made the most of it rushing for a career high of 113 yards.  Terrelle Pryor threw for 159 yards and three touchdowns while amassing 63 yards on the ground with a score.

Wisconsin is 5-0 yet unranked.  The Badgers are coming off their first road test at Minnesota which they won 31-28.  Big (6’2” 245lbs) RB John Clay ran for 184 yards and three scores.  This is a typical Badger team which used the running game to set up the pass.  Wisconsin’s defense hasn’t been as good as past teams giving up an average of 24PPG.

Prediction:  The classic irresistible force meets an immovable object applies when Wisconsin’s running game faces Ohio State’s rush defense.  John Clay will find the sledding much more difficult in Columbus.  Ohio State’s defense as a whole is a championship caliber unit.  The Buckeyes will limit the running game and force QB Scott Tolzien to make plays.  Terrelle Pryor will continue to improve and find DeVier Posey, Duron Carter and Dane Sanzenbacher early and often.  Brandon Saine will have another big game on the ground.  Ohio State 34 Wisconsin 17
