At the conclusion of every Big Ten basketball season is the Big Ten Basketball Tournament, held in either Indianapolis or Chicago on a alternating, every other year rotation. The Big Ten Basketball Tournament was first played in 1998 with the winner being crowned the Big Ten Basketball Tournament Champion and receiving an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. Ohio State, Iowa, Wisconsin & Michigan State each have won two Big Ten Tournament titles in the first 11 years of the Championship Tournament.
