Big Ten football recap - Week #12The Big Ten Football season continued this weekend with 5 conference match-ups and a single non-conference game. I was again asked by the staff of BigTen-fans.com to provide my "Shull's Selections;" a list of picks for every Big Ten game. Week #12 was another solid one for me as I went 4-2. Overall, I am now 32-8 (80%) on the season picking Big Ten winners. As always, look to Big Ten Fans for your updated Big Ten football scores andstandings throughout the weekend.
Michigan @ Ohio StateShull's Selection was: Michigan 27 - Ohio State 23
Minnesota 34 - Iowa 24"With Minnesota's recent offensive spark and Iowa's struggles in the Big Ten all season, I am going to have to go with Minnesota in a close one." It looks like I made the right choice, but it was not as close as I had expected. The Gophers forced 5 turnovers including 3 INTs by Drew Tate and Minnesota was able to capitalize to get the win and end the regular season at 6-6 and bowl-eligible. Shull's Selection was: Minnesota 31 - Iowa 30
Penn State 17 - Michigan State 13Michigan State led 10-0 after the 1st Quarter and 13-7 at the half, but as I predicted, "Penn State's offense will keep this game close, their defense will win it." The Penn State defense did indeed win the game for Joe Pa as they shut out the MSU offense in the second half and won the game by 4. Shull's Selection was: Penn State 20 - Michigan State 16
#12 Wisconsin 35 - Buffalo 3Wisconsin got on the board with an early TD and Buffalo folloed it up with a FG, but despite the 7-3 score after the 1st quarter, this game was never really close. The Badgers tied a school record with their 11th win of the season as Tyler Donovan threw for 308 yards and 2 TD to lead Wisconsin. Shull's Selection was: Wisconsin 44 - Buffalo 3
Purdue 28 - Indiana 19
Shull's Selection was: Purdue 33 - Indiana 24

My sixth week was solid going 4-2 overall. No bonus game this week, but I kick myself for not picking one. Shull's Selections are now 32-8 on the season.
